Happy birthday to the little boy who lights up my life.

The little boy who finally after years of struggling with infertility and praying for a miracle, showed up and made me a mama.

He’s my hopes and my dreams.  My happy faces and my silly dances.

He’s my racecar, my monkey, my little fishie, bubbs and giggles.

My whole heart, my sweet dreams.

My Peter Pan.

My Jackson.

Everyday is Neverland with you… let’s never grow up… never…okay? 🙂

Oh my little man…

I have no idea how this kid is going to be turning 2 next week.  It seems like not too long ago we were just bringing him home from the hospital.  My sweet miracle baby…

I’ll have more to say on that on his actual birthday, but for now I just wanted to share his 2 year photos we did this past weekend.  I don’t take nearly enough photos of him like I should.  One of my new year resolutions was to take more pictures of my own family (along with cutting back on sweets *hides empty box of Girl Scout cookies* )  I mean who could get tired of looking at THIS face!? 😉

My awesome Hubbs was so kind to snap this of J and I exploring after our shoot… I’m thinking this needs to be blown up big for my office 🙂  Love my guy.

  Whew!  I am behind on blogging and I apologize!  I have been so busy shooting and editing that I admit sometimes my blog gets a little neglected.  Make sure you’re following me on Facebook to see new work pretty much daily!

  A few weeks back I had my very first annual Beach Mini weekend.  12 awesome families in 2 days!  It was hard but it was FUN!  I had such a great time chasing kids on the beach, playing with babies, seeing old friends and meeting new clients!

This is the most beautiful set of boy/girl twin miracles you will ever meet.  Of course I may be a little biased because they are my Godchildren 😉 but REALLY man could they be any more gorgeous!? 

I had so much fun photographing Grace, Grant and their beautiful mom Laura.  They have such a special bond between the three of them and it was awesome to see it through my lens!  Thanks Reskey’s, love you all! xo

  I love this family!  Ashley and her gorgeous family were referred to me by Drew from DrewB Photography.  They were coming to California from Texas to vacation at Disneyland and wanted family photos while they were here, Drew wasn’t able to get them in so she gave Ashley my info and I am so thankful she did because this was one of the sweetest families I have ever worked with!

  Just watching the way this entire family interacted with eachother, you could completely feel the love between them!  They were so kind and warm, I felt so at home with them… and I was a tiny bit obsessed with their awesome texas accents!  (If you know me, you know I am a sucker for accents!)

  Thank you so much Ashley and family for allowing me to capture such amazing memories of you guys on the California sand!  I had so much fun with y’all! ;D xo
