I went to highschoolw ith this beautiful mama and hadn’t seen her since, so I was SO excited when she contacted me about photographing her adorable family! Little Nathan was such a sweet kid and I had so much fun chasing him around up the the hills!

Miss Maddie is the beautiful daughter of my friend Alley who’s beach maternity photos I did here
It’a amazing to see someone transition from person to parent, especailly a friend you know so well. Alley is such an amazing mom as I knew she would be… the love in her eyes when she talks about Maddie is just so perfect and sweet.
Madelynn was a dream to photograph, she was out when I got there and was semi-awake when I was posing her, but she just hung out and went with the flow.

I met the Cowen family down in Poway, CA last weekend. Momma, Amy, owns an adorable hair salon in San Diego and wanted me to come out to photograph some of her employees, so while I was out there we did a family session for her too! These little girls were soooo much fun to hang out with and “excited” wasn’t even the word when I told them I brought my homemade teepee to play in! I’m pretty sure they had fun since the middle daughter let me know it was okay to come back anytime and I could bring my teepee as well lol. Love it!!!

I met the Campbell family at the LA Arboretum last weekend and wow was it a beautiful day! I had never been there (honestly never knew of the LA Arboretum, only the Fullerton one) but I am so happy we went, it was amazing! I’m dying to take the hubbs and Mr J there!
These adorable girls were full of energy and had me running, jumping and chasing after them all day, which I totally L-O-V-E! They were full of giggles and secrets and everything sisters share, and most of all they were full of love. We would be walking and every now and then out of no where one of them would exclaim “Mommy I love you!!” or “Daddy I love you soo much!!” *SWOON*
Thanks Campbell family for such an amazing day and for allowing me to capture the love you all share!

I have known this little mama’s… well mama (hehe) for quite a while now from an online mommy board. We had never met in person though till our session together. In the world of technology that we live in now, it’s so awesome to “know” someone for so long and feel a special connection and bond to them even though we had never met and fromt he moment we both stepped out of our cars, it felt like I had always known her! I had so much fun this day, it was a perfectly beautiful day filled with perfectly beautiful people. One of our other friends met us there too to hang out while we shot and while I think she did more “assisting” than “hanging” lol, I know she had fun too!

This girl… I have so much I could say about this girl. Alley and I met when I used to work in the salon doing hair and makeup full time. Our stations were right next to each other and we became fast friends. I am so honored she chose me to capture this amazing time in her life. Being that we’ve been friends for what feels like so long and we’ve been through life’s ups & downs together, it was only fitting I was able to be a part of her maternity photos. I have no doubt in my mind that Ian and Alley will be amazing parents. Alley you will be an amazing mom because you are an amazing friend, sister and daughter. The love that you have for life shines through in all you do and your daughter is so blessed to have you guys as parents. I love you!

I had SO much fun photographing this adorable family. There’s something amazing that happens when you photograph people who truly love each other with all that they are… it completely shows through in their photos, and that’s exactly what happened in our session with Isaac, Jacqui and Elijah (and baby girl in the belly)!
We had the greatest time walking around the Venice Beach Canals. We would stop and take pictures, every now and then and if it was just Jacqui and Isaac, I would get them posed, tell them to look at me, then at the belly, then at each other and then kiss, and every now and then Jacqui would say “Do we get to kiss again?” or “Can we kiss again?” SQUEEEE!!! I love love love couples so in love with each other!
Thank you Isaac and Jacqui for allowing me to capture such an amazing time in your lives … and thank you little Elijah for letting me run up and down the alley ways playing pirates with you! ARRR MATEY!
