I went to highschool with this beautiful mama, and her gorgeous daughter is one of my God-daughters. I am so thankful to have them back in my life (we lost touch for a few years) and am so so happy I was able to capture the love between the two of them. There is no love like the love of a mother and her baby… no matter how old that baby is…
Little Miss K was the lucky little girl who won my free session a month or so ago and we were finally able to get together and do our shoot! Her mom wanted to do something fun and funky since Miss K is so into hip-hop (she’s a dancer) so we decided on Birch Street in Brea. I love that place! So many fun colors and locations!
I had the best time photographing Miss K (along with her momma, dad and auntie)! She was SO much fun to work with I just loved her! She was willing to do any poses/any crazy thing I asked her to do. She was such a sweetheart and I know she (as well as her momma) will treasure these photos for years to come!

This little guy is the adorable baby of one of my good friends that I worked with at the salon before I had Mr. J. She wanted to put together a calender for her family for Christmas and asked if I would take the pictures, which I jumped at because I wanted to hang out with this adorable guy who I had yet to meet! He was suuuuuch a sweetie, with the bluest eyes that will melt you right down! What a sweet surprise this gift will be!!
Little miss Sophie is turning two!! To celebrate, we cooked up a vintage tea party session just for her! One of her cousins, whom I have photographed before, was there so we got her in a few shots as well! I loved everything about this shoot. Sophie had such a personality on her and didn’t take long to warm up to me which was great! Happy 2nd birthday Sophie! I had so much fun playing make believe with you!
We took our bubbs, Mr J, apple picking this past weekend. I have tons of pictures, but wanted to share just a few. If you have never been I highly recommend it! We went to Riley’s which is beautiful, but make sure you go early in the season so there are still apples left to be picked! One of these days I plan to try and do a concept shoot up there, it’s just that pretty!
Sarah, the mom of this beautiful family, is sisters with Theresa from my post a couple entries back and we were lucky enough to be able to photograph both families on the same day at beauiful Tanaka Farms in Irvine, CA. The last time I saw Sarah and her little guy, I was taking pictures of him for last father’s day as a surprise gift to his daddy, and I can’t believe how much he has grown since then! He is sooo cute! This little family was so fun to work with and I love the way they all interact with each other! Thanks Boltons!!
The people over at http://www.mlbopus.com/ asked if I would do pictures and use my son as a model for an ad they are going to run in LA Mom’s Magazine. You should check out the link if you are a baseball fan! It is such an amazing archive of all of baseball history. The pictures in that thing are incredible and they even have Abner Doubleday’s (the creator of baseball) original sketch of the game in there! I just wanted to post my favorite from the shoot today. Look how big Mr. J is getting! I can’t get over how adorable he is!

I went to high school with this beautiful mama Theresa, but we had no idea who eachother was until a few years ago we met when our hubbys were playing poker together at a friend’s house. Apparently Theresa and her hubby Frank worked with my husband Mike when they were younger and that’s how they all knew each other. Fast forward to the present and we are all such good friends now and they are one of our favorite little families to hang out with. I love everything about the Otero family and I especially love being able to capture all of their great memories through photos.
For their fall themed shoot Theresa wanted to take her pictures at Tanaka Farms in Irvine and I am so glad we did! It was beautiful, especially with the sun setting behind them!

I met the awesome Ramirez family last thursday at Carbon Canyon Park in Brea for their fall themed session. They had booked a 2 hour shoot but got a little turned around, so we were only able to shoot for a little over an hour, but we worked fast and ended up getting in SO many great shots!
Their adorable little girl had the sweetest Tinkerbell costume bought by her grandparents for Halloween and she wore it during part of our shoot. The result was so perfect! The cutest little fairy in our own little “pixie hollow”! I loved everything about this session, especially how fun this family was to work with!
Thanks Ramirez family! It was such a joy working with you! Can’t wait for our next session in December!!
I had the honor of meeting and photographing this adorable little family! They were so so sweet, fun and natural that we got so many great shots! I love when you can see the love a family has for eachother and by these pictures, you can see it! I’m only about half way done enditing and going through all of the pictures I ended up with (well over 1000!) so I wanted to share a few of my favorites so far!
