I have to start by saying this session is probably one of my favorite recent Senior Sessions. I always luck out and have the most amazing seniors and McKenna was no different. This girl was such a natural in front of the camera. I don’t think I could have taken a bad photo of her if I tried! We photographed McKenna’s Senior Session down at the beach and it was the perfect setting for her. I had so much fun planning this with her mama and SO much fun hanging out with them at their session! She brought so many cute outfits and rocked them all! We also lucked out and had the most amazing light this night at the beach, which was great because we had to reschedule our original date due to it being completely overcast.

Thank you so much McKenna and Sonya for allowing me to capture these sweet moments for you all!

I can’t get over how blue her eyes are. To see them in person is incredible! She is so gorgeous! I have been photographing this beautiful girl since her 1st birthday. We did her 1 year old cake smash session in this very same field in Corona. She was SO tiny then and I cannot believe we just finished up her 4 year old session! Please stop growing Miss Addison!!

Oh, Reena and Robert. Where do I even start with this amazing wedding? Reena and I have known each other since our days at St Paul High School (Go Swordsmen!). She was a good friend in highschool, so I was so honored that she and Robert asked me to capture their wedding day. I always tear up at weddings that I photograph, but when it’s someone that I’ve known for somewhere around 18 or so years (gosh did that date me or what) since freshman year in high school… well the water works were a’flowin!

Reena and Robert chose The Villa in San Juan Capistrano as their wedding venue, and holy cow, this place is amazing. It is hands down, one of my all time favorite venues. It is so gorgeous and historic! Reena’s attention to detail (as well as all of her team that she had helping her put this day together) made it something straight out of a fairytale. From the flowing garland centerpieces, to the candle-lit reception, it was simply amazing.

Even more amazing was how much love surrounded Reena and Robert that day. The love they have for each other was so obvious at their wedding it was remarkable. From the way Robert’s jaw fell open when Reena walked down the aisle, to the way they looked at each other during their first dance… I get chills thinking about it even now.

Thank you, Reena and Robert, for including us on your wedding day. Wishing you many years of happiness together, and a lifetime of adventure! xoxo

Amy, Jonathan and I had such a fun engagement session up in the hills of Corona, CA. I love when my clients are adventurous and are willing to hike with me up hills and trails to amazing locations. I was especially impressed at this session by Amy who did it in heels! Yeah Amy!! 😉

Since we’ve gotten quite a few days of rain (which is so rare for us here in California), so many of my favorite locations are so green right now. I love it!

Thank you so much Amy & Jonathan! I seriously loved spending the afternoon with you guys! I can’t wait to photograph your wedding in October!!

Yorba Regional Park Engagement Session | How I Met Your Mother Inspired Engagement Session | Citlaly + Pablo | Amy Clemons Photography

Citlaly & Pablo are one of my amazing 2015 wedding couples and we always have so much fun together! I was so excited for their engagement session because they are both so fun-loving and creative! Pablo loves the show: How I Met Your Mother (and I LOVE it too), so we had to tie it in there a little bit. He for sure found his dream girl with the yellow umbrella!

We had the perfect session, with the amazing golden light that Southern California is known for! I always recommend to my couples to do a wardrobe change in the middle of their engagement session. It really gives the session lots of depth and variety! The balloons that Citlaly picked out for the second half of their session added the perfect amount of fun and color to the session!

Thanks Citlaly and Pablo!! I had so much fun with you both and I am so excited to photograph your beautiful wedding later this year! 🙂

Ellory + Sean | Engagement Session

While planning Ellory & Sean’s engagement photos, I knew we would instantly click. All the details that we emailed back and forth about had me seriously swooning. For example, one of the outfits Ellory wore was her Mother’s vintage wedding gown! *swoon* Combine that with amazing sunlight, a gorgeous setting, and the love of her life, and it was amazing!

We had our session on a beach in Laguna and the scenery was breathtaking. Ellory and Sean told me they were adventurous and boy were they ever! So much so, that we crawled on our hands and knees through a 3 foot tall sea cave to emerge on the most beautiful pristine private beach I had ever seen.

Thank you, Ellory & Sean, for allowing me to capture one of the biggest adventures of your lives. I can’t wait to photograph your wedding!!
